Long walks

Do you see yourself in this situation? It's autumn, and you're wandering through the woods, where lovely, multicoloured leaves hang from the trees or have already fallen to the ground. You're taking in the sights and sounds of nature and the vibrant colours of the season. Unfortunately, not everything is as magical: after a lengthy stroll, your feet feel as if they've been frozen. As a result, you take a seat near the heater to warm them up.

On the other hand, these big temperature changes are not good for your feet. It's preferable to avoid such 'frozen feet' next time. Warm your feet again in no time with this super-easy and low-cost trick.

Material for insulating

This simple method just requires insulating material. You might, for example, use a basic insulating blanket (available at the hardware store), a fire blanket, or any other kind of insulation material. After that, take a pair of flat-soled shoes and set them on top of the insulating blanket.

Here's how you'll proceed:

On the blanket or insulating material, outline the shoes. Cut out these shapes and place them under the inner sole of your shoes. You will notice that this insulation layer keeps the cold out of your feet. The insulating layer also prevents heat from escaping that has already been stored. What's the result? Even on a lengthy winter stroll, your feet will keep toasty!
